Former Amazon exec Jatin Jain joins Accel-backed Spyne to lead tech & AI

AI-powered automotive retail platform Spyne has appointed Jatin Jain as its new Head of Technology and AI, bringing in a seasoned tech leader with nearly a decade of experience at Amazon and Instacart.
In is new role, Jain will oversee a global team of over 90 engineers and AI researchers, said Spyne in a statement. He will report directly to Spyne CEO Sanjay Varnwal.
Jain's mandate includes building the company's AI-driven visual platform and strengthening its cloud infrastructure as Spyne expands internationally.
During his time at Amazon Prime Video, Jain developed large-scale computer vision systems for video quality management. At Instacart, he built language model-powered customer service technology serving millions across North America. He also previously worked at MobiKwik and Royal Bank of Scotland.
Spyne, which serves more than 3,000 dealerships worldwide, provides AI tools for vehicle imaging, 360-degree visuals, and automated customer engagement.
The startup has raised over $25 million from investors including Vertex Ventures, Accel, and Storm Ventures.
