Alive App, an experience-tech platform, has raised $1 million in a new funding round led by existing investor Powerhouse Ventures and new investor Flipkart Ventures.
The Bengaluru-based startup will use the fresh capital to strengthen its technology and product capabilities and expand its experience supply across existing markets.
Founded by Vivek Kumar in 2023, Alive App operates across Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi and Goa. The platform offers more than 500 experiences across adventure, food, wellness, art, culture and learning, while its creator and partner network has grown to over 400. Unlike a conventional experience aggregator, the company works with creators to develop and launch curated experiences.
Kumar, founder and CEO of Alive App, said the company has seen rapid adoption of experiences as part of weekend plans and is adding around 100 new experiences every month.
Kshitij Golwalkar, general partner at Powerhouse Ventures, said the company’s combination of differentiated supply, consumer proposition and AI-led operations gives it potential in India’s experience economy.
It is targeting 3X revenue growth in the coming months and aims to make the platform a regular destination for weekend activities.
Late last year in November, the startup had raised Rs 6 crore from Powerhouse Ventures and a group of angel investors.
