Anthropic said it is expanding its strategic partnership with cloud data company Snowflake in a $200 million multi-year deal.

As part of the deal Anthropic's Claude models will be available in the Snowflake platform to more than 12,600 global customers across Amazon Bedrock, Google Cloud Vertex AI, and Microsoft Azure, said Anthropic in a statement.

Snowflake already uses Claude models for internal operations. Besides, Snowflake's customers already process trillions of Claude tokens per month through Snowflake Cortex AI.

The next phase of partnership will help in deploying AI agents powered by Claude's advanced reasoning and Snowflake's governed data and AI environment, it added.

"This partnership brings Claude directly into Snowflake, where that data already lives. It's a meaningful step toward making frontier AI genuinely useful for businesses," said Dario Amodei, CEO and co-founder of Anthropic.

Anthropic is preparing to go for an initial public offering (IPO) as early as 2026, the Financial Times reported earlier this month.

Earlier in September, Anthropic had raised $13 billion as part of its Series F round at a post-money valuation of $183 billion.
