Anthropic has introduced its Claude Code on the web which will help developers manage their coding task directly from their browsers.
Claude Code on the web will currently only be available in beta as a research preview for Pro and Max users, said Anthropic in a statement.
With Claude Code on the web, developers can run multiple tasks in parallel across different repositories from a single interface, it explained.
It also noted that every Claude Code task runs in an isolated sandbox environment with network and filesystem restrictions.
Users can also use Claude Code on mobile and is available on iOS, as part of this research preview.
Anthropic's decision to put Claude Code on the web comes as it seeks to make its coding tools more accessible to users amid competition from rivals including Microsoft’s GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Google and OpenAI.
