Botgauge AI, a US-headquartered autonomous quality-assurance-as-a-solution startup, has secured $2 million in funding led by Surface Ventures.

The funding round saw participation from IA Seed Ventures and Saka Ventures, said the company in a statement.

The funds will be deployed to expand research and development, strengthen its autonomous agents, and scale across the US and other markets.

Botgauge provides autonomous QA as a solution for engineering teams by letting artificial intelligence (AI) agents handle end-to-end testing workflows.

The startup was founded in 2024 by Pramin Pradeep, Naresh Kumar Rajendran, Vivek Nair, and Sreepad Krishnan Mavila, and is headquartered in Dover, Delaware.

"Building autonomous QA for a diverse customer base requires solving complex organizational and technical problems. The BotGauge AI team has the background, intellect, and discipline to solve these problems over time," said Gyan Kapur, co-managing partner at Surface Ventures.

Surface Ventures is a seed and pre-seed venture capital firm based in New York that invests in B2B software companies.
