C2i Semiconductors has secured $15 million in its Series A funding round led by Peak XV Partners.
The funding round also saw participation from Yali Deeptech and TDK Ventures.
The financing will be used to further the company's global expansion, including a US office, and an applications and systems engineering team in Taiwan, a company statement said.
The Bengaluru-based entity was co-founded in June 2024 by Ram Anant, Vikram Gakhar, Preetam Tadeparthy, Dattatreya Suryanarayana, Harsha S B, and Muthusubramanian N V.
The startup develops power-management semiconductor solutions for AI data centers and cloud infrastructure. It has innovated how electricity flows inside a server from the power source to the processor chip to optimise power delivery in real time. It expects the first silicon designs to return from fabrication by the middle of the year.
The power control system maker had previously raised $4 million in an investment round led by Yali Capital in 2024.
It was also approved for financial support and access to advanced chip design tools under the Design Linked Incentive (DLI) scheme in November 2024 by the central government.
