Computer vision technology platform Constems-AI Systems has raised $2 million in a pre-series A funding round led by Finvolve, a joint venture between India Accelerator (IA) and Finolutions.
The funding round also saw participation from existing investors Cogniphy, a Category I Angel Fund, Inflection Point Ventures, and the IIM Lucknow Enterprise Incubation Centre.
The new investment will enable the deep tech startup to work on product innovation, develop its artificial intelligence (AI) models, scale to enterprises globally, and expand across Southeast Asia, Japan and the Middle Eastern market.
Constems-AI Systems was founded in 2017 by Amit Singh and Amit Srivastava to use AI to develop intellectual properties (IP) in image processing, and deliver them through software as a service (SaaS) and edge computing platforms.
It delivers AI-powered vision solutions for retail execution and space management through products such as CAInactics, an infrared (IR)/computer vision technology platform, and BoVi, which provides advanced AI-based vision inspection and analytics. The startup boasts of leading Fortune 500 companies in the consumer sector among clients.
The Noida-based company had previously raised $1.04 million with the latest in May 2024, according to the market intelligence platform Tracxn.
