VerbaFlo, a conversational AI platform focused on the real estate sector, has raised $7 million in its seed funding round led by Pi Labs.
The funding round saw participation from Haatch, Navigate Ventures, Old College Capital (University of Edinburgh’s venture investment arm), and a group of global family offices, alongside follow-on commitments from anchor investors, a statement said.
The startup will use the fresh capital to expand its presence in the US and other international markets. Part of the funds will also be used for product development and team expansion globally.
VerbaFlo, which was by founded in 2024 by Sayantan Biswas, Abhishek Garg, VP Singh and Dan Smith, helps real estate owners and operators to automate leasing, operations, and resident engagement through conversational AI. It supports conversations in more than 200 languages.
Sayantan Biswas, founder at VerbaFlo, noted that real estate is one of the largest industries in the world but its communication channels are fragmented.
"We built VerbaFlo to address this by creating a purpose-built vertical AI platform," he added.
He explained that the startup supports more than 40 use cases across enquiry management, lead qualification, bookings, onboarding and resident engagement.
Faisal Butt, founder and managing partner at Pi Labs, said that it expects that the next wave of value creation in the built world will be driven by applied, vertical AI.
