Internet of things (IoT) software platform Datoms has secured Rs 25 crore in its Series A funding round led by Big Capital JSC.
The funding round saw participation from Yournest Venture Capital and Ivycap Ventures.
The startup will use the funds to improve its core product and technology, expand across markets, and recruit engineering, data science and enterprise sales personnel. It will also develop AI-driven predictive maintenance and energy management solutions.
The Bhubaneshwar-based startup was cofounded by Amiya Samantaray, Nataraj Sahoo, Amrit Biswal, and Asish Sahoo in 2021. It works in human capital intensive sectors to provide data analytics and IoT technology to simplify operations.
The industrial IoT startup had earlier secured $1.2 million in pre-series A funding from Yournest Venture Capital in October 2023.
