Drone startup SUIND bags seed funding led by Transition VC

Autonomous drone startup SUIND has raised Rs 20.5 crore in a seed funding round led by Transition VC.
The funding round saw participation from IIMA Ventures.
The Bengaluru-based startup will use the fresh capital to scale commercial deployment of Bumblebee, the company's DGCA type-certified autonomous agriculture drone, accelerate development of Wasp, its aerial inspection platform, and strengthen its proprietary vision-first autonomy technology designed to operate in GPS-denied environments.
Founded in 2020 by Kunal Shrivastava and Kevin Kleber, SUIND develops autonomous unmanned aerial systems that rely primarily on computer vision rather than satellite navigation, enabling drones to operate close to terrain, around obstacles and in environments where GPS signals are weak or unavailable.
Indian drone companies raised $178 million in equity funding in 2025, up 45% over the same period in 2024, according to data from Tracxn.
