Emergent, an AI-powered development platform, has received strategic investment from Google's AI Futures Fund.
Emergent will use the fresh capital for product development, and global and team expansion. Financial details of the transaction were not revealed.
The AI Futures Fund was launched earlier in May this year to invest in startups that are building with the latest AI tools from Google DeepMind.
The strategic investment comes just a few months after Emergent raised $23 million in a Series A funding round led by Lightspeed.
The funding round saw participation from Together Fund, Y Combinator, Prosus Ventures, and angel investors, including Jeff Dean, Devendra Chaplot, and Balaji Srinivasan.
Emergent had previously raised $7 million in seed round from Y Combinator and Together Fund.
Emergent, which was founded by twin brothers Mukund Jha and Madhav Jha last year, allows non-technical users to create an app using prompts.
