Bengaluru-based construction robotics startup Flo Mobility has raised $2.5 million in a pre-Series A funding round co-led by Mela Ventures and Arali Ventures.
The fresh capital will be used to scale manufacturing, strengthen its AI and autonomy stack, expand deployments across India, and enter international markets, particularly the Middle East.
Flo Mobility was founded in 2021 by Manesh Jain (CEO) and Pratik Patel (COO). The startup is building Physical AI and robotics solutions for the construction sector, with its flagship Flo Hauler robot capable of transporting loads of up to 1.5 tonnes across construction sites, including multi-floor operations. The company claims over 60 robot deployments across 10 states with clients including L&T, Godrej Properties, and Embassy Group, delivering 45% cost savings and a 67% reduction in accidents.
Flo Mobility last raised funding in December 2024, led by JITO Incubation and Innovation Foundation, prior to which it had raised $400K from DevX Venture Fund and Blume Founders Fund in 2021.
In the overall robotics space, General Autonomy and Unbox Robotics recently raised funding.
