Isotopes AI, co-founded by the former executive of data labeling company Scale AI, has raised $20 million in seed funding led by Vab Goel at NTTVC.

The startup's product aidnn is positioned as the first AI coworker to operate like your analyst and data engineer.

"Isotopes AI's aidnn co-authors your decisions," as per the startup's website.

Isotopes AI was founded last year by Arun Murthy, who was previously CTO at Scale AI, in which Meta made a "significant investment" earlier this year. Prasanth Jayachandran and Gopal Vijayaraghavan, whom Murthy had known from his Hortonworks days, are the other co-founders in the startup.

Hortonworks, which was a data company that provided an open-source platform, was founded in 2011 as a spin-off from Yahoo. Later in 2018, Hortonworks merged with Cloudera, another major big data company, to form the Cloudera Data Platform.
