Google has inked a six-year cloud computing deal with Meta Platforms worth over $10 billion, the Information reported.

As part of the deal, Meta will use Google Cloud's infrastructure, including computing servers, data storage systems, and networking capabilities.

Earlier last month, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg had said that the tech giant would spend hundreds of billions of dollars to build several massive AI data centers.

Meta's strategy involves partnering with external companies to help finance the enormous infrastructure requirements for AI development. The company recently revealed plans to transfer approximately $2 billion worth of data center assets to outside partners as part of this funding approach.

Notably, this is Google's second major cloud agreement in recent months.

Earlier in June, the Reuters reported that OpenAI plans to add Google's cloud service.
