GreyLabs AI, a voice AI platform focused on banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) sector, has raised Rs 85 crore in its Series A funding round led by Elevation Capital.

Z47 and angel investors participated in the funding round.

The startup will use the fresh capital for R&D, team expansion and for growing its presences in Bengaluru and Delhi.

GreyLabs had raised seed funding of over $1.5 million last year from Z47, formerly Matrix Partners India.

The startup, which was founded in 2023 by Aman Goel, Harshita Srivastava, Shivam Gupta, Raj Sanghavi, Debabrata Basak, and Shreyas Patel, positions itself as a call center speech analytics solutions for the BFSI industry.

"GreyLabs AI's platform goes beyond traditional automation by offering BFSI-tuned agents that seamlessly blend AI efficiency with human empathy, featuring natively multilingual capabilities," said Elevation in a LinkedIn post.

The platform is already processing hundreds of millions of conversations for over 50 BFSI institutions, it added.

Voice AI startups have attracted significant venture capital interest in the past year with companies such as Navana.ai and Gnani.ai having raised funding
