Agentic artificial intelligence (AI) startup for recruiters Hirebound has secured $2 million in its seed funding round led by Kalaari Capital.

The Bengaluru-based startup will use the fresh capital to improve its AI engine, develop solutions across the recruitment lifecycle, and integrate with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS) platforms.
The startup, which was founded in 2023 by Sharad Vij and Kumar Vikramaditya, has developed a conversational AI software that helps recruiters automate tasks such as candidate engagement, screening and scheduling. It currently has 15 member team across product, AI/ML, engineering, delivery and go-to-market functions.

Hirebound had earlier raised $ 348,000 from Antler and KK Family Trust in July 2024.
