Hycosys bags seed funding from Mounttech Growth Fund

Hydrogen combustion system maker Hycosys has secured $1 million in its seed funding from Mounttech Growth Fund - Kavachh.
The fresh capital will be used to strengthen the engineering team, access advanced testing facilities, develop a micro gas turbine (MGT), and showcase an effective clean energy alternative to diesel-based power generators by the mid of 2027.
The Bengaluru-based startup manufactures hydrogen fueled micro gas turbines for power generation that can be distributed in sectors like clean power, mobility, and aerospace.
The deep tech engineering startup was founded in 2024 by Tapish Agarwal and Ugandhar Reddy, and has gathered support from various government, VC, and CSR initiatives.
The startup had previously raised $88,400 in a pre-seed round from Pointone Capital in December 2024.
