Meta has quietly rolled out a new AI-driven app called Pocket, enabling users to create simple interactive games and experiences through text prompts.
The app lets users build, explore, and share AI-generated "gizmos" while also offering a social feed where they can discover creations from others.
The app appears to build on technology acquired through Meta’s purchase of the team behind Gizmo, an AI game-creation platform with a similar concept.
Pocket reflects Meta’s broader strategy of expanding AI-powered creative tools, following its earlier launches for AI-generated images, videos, and creator-focused editing features.
The app first came to public attention after Alessandro Paluzzi, a reverse engineer known for uncovering unreleased apps and features, shared a screenshot of Pocket's Google Play listing on X. App intelligence firm Appfigures said Pocket had already been quietly available on both the App Store and Google Play since June 29, 2026, before attracting wider attention.
