OpenAI is partnering with defence and government technology contractor Leidos to deploy artificial intelligence (AI) to boost the services of government agencies.
The companies plan to embed OpenAI-powered AI into customers’ core workflows across digital modernization, health services, national security, infrastructure, and defence, a statement said.
Ted Tanner, chief technology officer, Leidos, noted that Leidos and OpenAI are harnessing the power of AI to help improve how federal agencies operate
"With Leidos' deep understanding of federal operations and OpenAI's leading AI technology, we are supporting agencies as they move beyond experimentation and into real-world deployment that improves efficiency, resilience and public service," said Joseph Larson, vice president of government at OpenAI.
