OpenAI rolls out ChatGPT Go plan in 16 more countries

OpenAI has launched its affordable ChatGPT Go plan in 16 more countries, after first rolling it out in India in August and later in Indonesia.
The ChatGPT Go plan is now available in Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Afghanistan, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Maldives, Myanmar, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, East Timor, and Vietnam.
The Sam Altman-led company is letting users pay in local currencies for the ChatGPT Go plan in select countries like Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines and Pakistan.
The launch of ChatGPT Go in more countries underlines OpenAI's plans to establish its presence outside the US, which is its largest market.
Google also launched its affordable Google AI Plus plan in Indonesia in September followed by the roll out in more than 40 countries.
