Pune- and Austin-based robotics startup Peppermint Robotics has raised Rs 100 crore in a pre-Series B funding round led by pi Ventures and Crane Venture Partners.

The round also saw participation from Asiana Fund, the company said in a statement.

The funding round is a combination of primary capital and secondary share transactions, it added without disclosing the split.

The fresh capital will be used to accelerate product innovation, develop next-generation robotics solutions, expand manufacturing capacity, establish North American operations, strengthen its global presence and support strategic hiring.

Founded in 2019 by Runal Dahiwade, Miraj Vora and Nityanand Prabhutendolkar, Peppermint Robotics develops autonomous cleaning and material-handling robots powered by its proprietary Peppermint OS. Its solutions are deployed across factories, hospitals, airports, warehouses and hotels in nine countries.

The company said it recorded nearly 6x revenue growth between FY24 and FY26, with the US emerging as its largest market. Recently, it cleanroom robot cleared qualification testing in an EU GMP cleanroom.

"Cleaning teams keep hospitals, factories and airports running. Our robots work alongside them and take on the most repetitive, physically demanding jobs, like floor scrubbing and specialty material transportation," said Dahiwade, founder and CEO of Peppermint.

Shubham Sandeep, partner, pi Ventures, noted that Peppermint robots have demonstrated reliable performance at scale with clear ROI in demanding environments.

Prior to this funding round, the company had raised 34 crore (around $4 million) in its Series A round in April 2025.

The Indian robotics sector has witnessed several funding deals in 2026. Most recently, underwater robotics startup Coratia Technologies raised Rs 18 crore in a bridge funding round led by MGF Kavachh in October 2026. Earlier, ANSCER Robotics raised $5.4 million (around Rs 45 crore) in a Series A round led by IAN Alpha Fund in May 2026. Supply chain robotics startup Unbox Robotics also secured $28 million in a Series B round led by ICICI Venture in January 2026.
