Prodoc AI has raised an undisclosed amount in a seed funding round led by the family of A Velumani, founder of diagnostics chain Thyrocare, which was acquired by Pharmeasy in 2021.
The funding round also saw participation from existing investors Kunal Shet and Parth D Bhasin.
The fresh capital will be used to strengthen the company’s Agentic AI capabilities, expand the number of software integrations on its platform, and develop AI agents for hospital workflows spanning care coordination, patient engagement, operations, and revenue management.
Founded by Asit Kumar Vidyarthi and Raghuvamshi Thakur, Prodoc AI develops a Patient Journey OS that connects hospital systems such as HIS, EMR, CRM, billing, and diagnostics. The platform helps hospitals manage patient engagement, care coordination, referrals, and operations, and currently serves over 100 hospitals with more than 50 integrations and over one million patient interactions every month.
Commenting on the funding, Asit Kumar Vidyarthi, co-founder and CEO of Prodoc AI, said that hospitals often manage patient interactions across multiple disconnected systems, and the company is using AI to unify this context and help providers move from data collection to meaningful action throughout the patient journey.
Velumani, founder of Thyrocare and investor in the company, said Prodoc AI’s healthcare-focused AI platform has the potential to improve lead-to-revenue conversion while reducing customer acquisition costs for healthcare providers.
