Two Point O Capital, a clean infrastructure platform enabling clean energy and water treatment through financing and technology, has raised $10 million in an early-stage funding round led by Transition Venture Capital.
The round also saw participation from existing investor Omnivore, along with angel investors Chiranjeev Singh Saluja and Sudhir M Reddy.
The startup will use the fresh capital to expand its solar, energy efficiency and wastewater treatment businesses, while entering the battery energy storage segment. It also plans to strengthen its presence across energy- and water-intensive sectors, including data centres, automotive, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing and healthcare.
Founded in 2024 by Archit Mehrotra, Karan Bhutani, Manya Ranjan and Shashidhar Reddy, Two Point O Capital provides financing and execution support for businesses adopting clean energy and water treatment solutions, using AI and ML to assess projects and monitor asset performance.
"India's tremendous growth in commercial and industrial segments will continue to increase demand for energy and water, placing greater pressure on businesses to manage and optimise energy costs and resources," said Karan Bhutani, CEO and co-founder.
Yashodhara Bakliwal, vice president of investment at Transition Venture Capital, said the company's model helps address the capital expenditure barrier to clean energy adoption.
The funding reflects growing investor interest in clean energy financing. Peer Smart Joules also raised $10 million to expand its energy efficiency business. Two Point O Capital's clients include Premier Energies, Godrej, JK Tyre, Wipro and Phoenix Mills.
