Vertiv Holdings Co said it has acquired Belgium-based Generative AI software company Waylay NV.
The acquisition is part of Vertiv's continued investment in AI-driven monitoring and control technologies for its power and cooling systems, said the New York-listed company in a statement.
The financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
The acquisition will help Vertiv to boost its ability to increase uptime for its customers globally. It will also support Vertiv to optimize energy usage, and enhance operational intelligence across their critical digital infrastructure, it added.
"With the addition of Waylay’s technology and software-focused team, Vertiv will accelerate its vision of intelligent infrastructure — data-driven, proactive, and optimized for the world’s most demanding environments," said Vertiv, CEO, Giordano Albertazzi.
In May, Vertiv partnered with AI chip giant Nvidia to launch 800 VDC power infrastructure portfolio for AI factories.
Founded in 2014, Waylay has developed an AI-driven hyper automation software platform. The platform helps in workflow-based automation, system integration, and orchestration across a wide range of connected assets, enterprise applications, and cloud services.
