Zinit, an AI-powered procurement platform, has raised $8 million in its seed funding round led by AltaIR Capital.
DVC and angel investors participated in the funding round.
The fresh capital will be used to expand globally including India, which is emerging as a key market.
Earlier this year, the company also appointed Naveenn Suri as country head and CEO of India. Prior to joining Zinit, Suri, who has over 24 years of experience, was partner at EY.
"With early success across emerging markets in India, Indonesia and Brazil, we’re now partnering with U.S. companies — continuing our journey to make procurement faster, smarter, and more equitable on the biggest market," said Anton Buzdalin, co-founder and CEO, Zinit, in a LinkedIn post.
Zinit, which was founded by Andrey Chernogorov and Buzdalin in 2023 in the UAE, is a platform that helps procurement for businesses globally. Its platform has been used by more than 100 enterprise clients globally, including Bacardi India, UFLEX Limited and United Colors of Benetton.
