Amazon Pay India reports Rs 2,097 crore in FY25 revenues

The digital payments arm of online marketplace Amazon India saw its losses fall Rs 866 crore in FY25 from Rs 911 crore in FY24.

Amazon Pay India has reported Rs 2,097 crore in operating revenue for the financial year ended March 31, 2025 -- which fell from Rs 2,287 crore reported during FY24.

The digital payments arm of online marketplace Amazon India saw its losses down by 5% to Rs 866 crore in FY25 from Rs 911 crore in FY24, Entrackr reported.

Advertising was the largest cost component for the company, accounting for 52% of total expenses. This increased to Rs 1,592 crore in FY25. Payment processor fees stood at Rs 845 crore in the expense category, while employee benefit costs saw a slight decline to Rs 213 crore in FY25.

Overall, the firm managed to reduce its total expenses by 6.7% to Rs 3,061 crore in FY25 from Rs 3280 crore in FY24.
