Avanse Q1 FY27 standalone revenue up 18% to Rs 760 crore

Avanse Financial Services reported an18.4% year-on-year increase in standalone operating revenue to Rs 760 crore in Q1 FY27 from Rs 641.6 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.
The education-focused NBFC's net profit increased 31% to Rs 154.3 crore in Q1 FY27 from Rs 118 crore a year earlier.

Total expenses of Avanse grew 15% to Rs 555.5 crore during the quarter as compared to Rs 484.8 crore in Q1 FY26.
Employee benefit expenses jumped 29% to Rs 56.2 crore in Q1 FY27 from Rs 43.7 crore in the year-ago period.
Founded by Amit Gainda in 2013, Avanse provides education loans for domestic and overseas studies and financing solutions for educational institutions. The company had filed draft papers for a Rs 3,500 crore IPO in June 2024 and had received the approval of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) in October 2024 but did not go ahead with the listing plans then.
