Cashfree CFO Piyush Anchliya quits within months of appointment

Piyush Anchliya, chief financial officer at fintech startup Cashfree, has stepped down just few months after taking over the role.
Akash Sinha, founder and chief executive of Cashfree, said that Anchliya's resignation was "a rare instance and for personal reasons that cannot be shared," the Mint reported.
The development comes as the Bengaluru-based startup saw its operating revenue drop to Rs 640 crore in FY25 as compared with Rs 643 crore in FY24, as per its filings.
Anchliya had replaced Vikas Guru, who had served as CFO at Cashfree for nearly four years. Prior to this appointment, Anchliya held senior roles at Barclays and IDFC/Bandhan Group.
Earlier in February, Cashfree raised $53 million in its Series C funding round led by Krafton.
