Fintech company Cred has introduced a new offering, Sovereign, aimed at India's "most affluent", and a credit card in partnership with private lender IndusInd Bank.
"Sovereign is for Cred’s most distinguished member," said the fintech company, which counts Peak XV and Tiger Global among its backers, in a statement.
A Sovereign member will receive an 18-karat gold credit card, in partnership with IndusInd Bank, it added.
Members will also earn the "exceptional privilege" access to a select few early-stage investments in startups with other top investors.
It explained that Yosemite includes a major update to its CRED Money, which over 18 lakh members use to track and manage their bank accounts.
"Beyond abundance, India’s most affluent seek influence, access, and experiences. Yosemite is the next chapter in Cred’s mission of enabling progress for the creditworthy, manifesting in products that advance their highest ideals," said Kunal Shah, founder, Cred.
Separately, the fintech company also launched a new credit card program. As part of the program, the startup has rolled out its first credit card in partnership with IndusInd Bank -- CRED IndusInd Bank Rupay credit card -- that is aimed for sophisticated online shoppers.
Card-holders earn points equivalent to 5% of their spends on all e-commerce and 1% on offline transactions, including CRED Scan and Pay.
"CRED brings a highly curated, digital-native community, while IndusInd brings the banking pedigree, credit expertise, and lifestyle benefits. Together, this co-brand will capture the fast-growing e-commerce and affluent spend segment, positioning the card as the default choice at checkout and reinforcing our leadership in the premium consumer space," said Soumitra Sen, country head – consumer banking & marketing, IndusInd Bank.
