Fundamentum doubles down as Stable Money kicks off Series C fundraising

Stable Money has raised Rs 136 crore in the first tranche of its Series C funding round led by existing investor The Fundamentum Partnership, the Entrackr reported citing filings with the Registrar of Companies (RoC).

The funding round also saw participation from other existing investors Peak XV Partners, RTP Global, and Z47 (formerly Matrix Partners).

As part of the transaction, the company issued 1,318 equity shares and 20,591 Series C compulsorily convertible preference shares at Rs 62,167.9 apiece. 

Of the total, The Fundamentum Partnership has invested Rs 73.8 crore, while Peak XV Partners invested Rs 22 crore. RTP Global and Z47 each infused Rs 20.2 crore.

The Bengaluru-based startup is expected to deploy the fresh capital towards expanding its fixed-income investment offerings, strengthening its technology platform, and accelerating customer acquisition as it scales its wealth management business.

Founded in 2022 by Saurabh Jain and Harish Reddy, Stable Money is a wealthtech platform that enables users to compare and invest in fixed deposits, bonds, and other fixed-income products across multiple financial institutions.

Earlier in February, the company raised $25 million in a funding round led by Peak XV Partners at a valuation of $175 million. Following the latest investment, its valuation is estimated to have increased to around $264 million.
