InCred Capital has launched InCred Black, a dedicated platform targeting ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNIs), entrepreneurs and business families, and it has brought in three industry veterans to lead the charge.
Alok Agrawal, Harmeet Sahney and Zarksis Gotla have joined InCred Capital as Co-Founders of the new platform, a statement said. Together, the trio brings more than eight decades of experience across wealth management and financial advisory, including a stint building Avendus’ wealth management business.
The three veterans have also worked with financial institutions including Kotak Mahindra Bank, Barclays and Credit Suisse.
At InCred Black, Agrawal, Sahney and Gotla will focus on expanding the UHNI client base while deepening the firm’s advisory capabilities. The company also plans to continue hiring senior bankers and investment specialists as it scales the platform.
InCred Black will offer a suite of customised wealth management solutions covering asset allocation, alternative investments, public and private markets, credit products, liquidity management and global investment opportunities. The platform will draw on the wider advisory, investment and institutional capabilities of InCred Capital and the broader InCred Group.
The statement said that InCred’s wealth management business has now crossed Rs 1 lakh crore in assets under management, giving the group a sizeable base from which to build a more specialised proposition for India’s wealthiest investors.
Commenting on the launch, Bhupinder Singh, founder and group CEO of InCred, said the firm has built a sizeable wealth management business and that InCred Black will provide a more differentiated proposition for sophisticated investors while reinforcing the company’s overall wealth platform.
