The fintech company posted a net profit of Rs 7.6 crore in Q1 FY27, compared to a net loss of Rs 41.9 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

MobiKwik recorded a 3.7% year-on-year increase in revenue from operations to Rs 281.5 crore in the April-June quarter of this fiscal ending on March 31, 2027 from Rs 271.4 crore in the same quarter of the previous financial year.

It posted a net profit of Rs 7.6 crore in Q1 FY27, compared to a net loss of Rs 41.9 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, according to the company's unaudited financial results filed with the stock exchanges. This is the company's third consecutive profitable quarter.

"Our Q1 FY27 performance reinforces that profitability is embedded in our business model, with three consecutive profitable quarters alongside continued investments in growth," said Bipin Preet Singh, co-founder, MD & CEO, MobiKwik.

Singh added that in payments the company achieved 50% year-on-year growth with improved unit economics during the quarter while in lending its gross profit rose 5.6x year-on-year.

The company's total expenses declined 12.6% to Rs 273.4 crore during the quarter from Rs 312.8 crore in Q1 FY26, driven by a reduction in lending operational expenses and lower payment processing charges.

Employee benefit expenses increased 27.3% to Rs 53.4 crore in Q1 FY27 from Rs 42 crore in the year-ago quarter.
