Nexedge Capital, a wealth management and multi-family office firm focused on high-net-worth individuals (HNIs) and ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNIs), has raised $20 million in its maiden institutional funding round led by Mirae Asset Venture Investment and Elev8 Venture Partners.
Nexedge plans to use the fresh capital to strengthen its technology platform, expand its senior banker network and increase its presence across India, including in tier-II and tier-III cities.
The company is also looking to build new business lines, including a dedicated proposition for non-resident Indians (NRIs) and a non-banking financial company (NBFC) business.
Founded in February 2025 by Anirudha Taparia, a former co-founder and joint CEO of 360 ONE Wealth, Nexedge says it has grown its assets under management (AUM) to more than $3 billion within 18 months. Taparia is joined at Nexedge by co-founders Sidhartha Shaw, Vijeeta Sharma and Pankaj Walia, along with 15 founding partners with experience across Citibank, Kotak Wealth, 360 ONE and Standard Chartered.
The firm said it serves more than 1,300 client families and has onboarded over 95 senior bankers, with another 50-60 expected to join in 2026. It added that it aims to manage a family's broader balance sheet, including investments, portfolio management, estate planning, business expansion and global mobility.
Other venture capital-backed wealth management platforms include Dezerv and Centricity.
