OfBusiness, a B2B commerce and lending platform, has taken complete ownership of garment and home textiles manufacturer Indian Design, media reports said.

The acquisition strengthens OfBusiness's clothing division, bringing Indian Design under the same umbrella as its existing operations in metals, chemicals, agricultural processing, and fashion.

Indian Design brings in roughly Rs 1,300 crore yearly through supplying clothes and home fabrics to international retailers like H&M, GAP, Old Navy, Columbia, and IKEA.

When combined with OfBusiness's current partnerships with fashion giants such as Zara, Uniqlo, Adidas, and Skechers, the entire clothing segment is expected to generate around Rs 3,000 crore in sales, with exports accounting for nearly four-fifths of that figure.

Earlier, OfBusiness acquired food ingredients company Elixir Extracts. Its acquisition also includes Koeleman India, Alpine Shoes and SMW Ispat.

The Gurugram-headquartered firm is reportedly preparing for a stock market debut worth up to $1 billion through a combination of new shares and existing shareholder sales.

Earlier this year, OfBusiness secured Rs 100 crore in funding from Cornerstone Ventures. Before that, the company had raised more than $662 million through multiple funding rounds, including a $325 million investment from Alpha Wave, Tiger Global, and SoftBank that valued the business at $5 billion.
