Peak XV sells Go Digit shares worth Rs 139 crore via block deal

Peak XV Partners has further reduced its stake in Go Digit General Insurance, selling shares worth nearly Rs 139 crore through a block deal.
As per NSE block deal disclosures, Peak XV Partners Growth Investments III sold 57.21 lakh shares at Rs 243 apiece, resulting in a deal value of about Rs 139 crore. The entire stake was picked up by ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund.
The latest sale follows another transaction in June, when Peak XV divested 33.33 lakh shares of Go Digit for around Rs 100 crore, with Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund and JPMorgan (Taiwan) Eastern Technology Fund participating as buyers.
Founded in 2017, Go Digit General Insurance provides motor, health, travel, property, and other insurance products.
For the quarter ended June 2026, Go Digit reported a 37.5% decline in net profit to Rs 86.4 crore from Rs 138.3 crore a year earlier. Gross premium written also dropped 8.4% year-on-year to Rs 2,730.9 crore during the quarter.
