Vested gets IFSCA PSP approval to expand cross-border payments via GIFT City
28 Jul 2026, 01:45 PMThe latest approval comes after Vested received an IFSCA Global Access Provider (GAP) licence in April.
Global investing platform Vested Finance has secured Payment Service Provider (PSP) authorisation from the International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) for its GIFT City-based entity, Vested Payments IFSC Pvt Ltd.
The approval allows the company to offer regulated cross-border payment services, including payment accounts, e-money issuance, and international money transfers.
The latest approval comes after Vested received an IFSCA Global Access Provider (GAP) licence in April that enables Indian investors to access overseas markets.
With the PSP authorisation now in place, the company can operate both the investment access and payment movement layers of its business under India’s GIFT City regulatory framework.
According to the company, the licence will enable investor fund transfers to be conducted within a regulated structure that includes safeguards related to governance, cybersecurity, customer fund protection, and AML/KYC compliance.
Vested said the combined approvals strengthen its ability to support international investing while ensuring regulatory oversight over both investment and payment flows.
The firm added that the new authorisation lays the groundwork for future cross-border financial products and services.
Vested claims it is currently the only global investing platform serving Indian investors that operates under regulatory frameworks in both India and the US.
As of July 2026, the company said it has facilitated more than Rs 65,000 crore in trading volume and manages over Rs 10,000 crore in assets under administration.
