The financial details of the transaction have not been disclosed.

Following the acquisition, Suvit founder Ankit Virani will take on the role of business head at Vyapar, leading the integration of Suvit's automation capabilities into Vyapar's existing product suite.

Suvit, which was founded in 2022 by Virani, specializes in AI-enabled pre-accounting services, GST reconciliation, and advanced compliance tools designed for chartered accountants and MSMEs. Suvit serves over 10,000 practicing firms and 30,000 accountants through its platform, according to company information.

The acquisition is expected to help Vyapar deliver enhanced operational efficiency and more comprehensive compliance features to small businesses and tax professionals, accelerating the adoption of AI-driven solutions in the sector.

Vyapar was founded in 2016 by Sumit Agarwal, Ruqiya Irum and Shubham Agrawal. The SaaS platform provides accounting and inventory management solutions tailored for small businesses, addressing needs around invoicing, inventory tracking, accounting, and regulatory compliance. The company claims to serve over 1 crore MSMEs and competes with players like Clear and SahiGST in the fintech space.

Vyapar last raised $30 million from WestBridge Capital, IndiaMART and India Quotient in 2022.
