B2B fintech infra startup Decentro has closed a Rs 30 crore in Series B funding round led by InfoEdge Ventures.
The funding round is led by InfoEdge Ventures, with participation from Stargazer Growth (backed by Groww CEO Lalit Keshre) and existing investors including Uncorrelated Ventures, among others.
This funding comes nearly 2.5 years after the company raised $4.7 million in a round led by Rapyd Ventures, Leonis VC, and Uncorrelated Ventures, with participation from Kunal Shah (Founder and CEO of CRED), Lalit Keshre (Co-founder and CEO of Groww), and other angel investors.
The fresh capital will be used to deepen enterprise adoption, enhance product capabilities, and expand overall trade and marketing (GTM) initiatives across financial institutions, including banks, non-banking financial companies (NBFCs), fintech platforms, and digital lenders, the company stated.
The Y-Combinator-backed startup, which is headquartered in Singapore, is raising the round via its Indian entity. The company added that it will also be relocating its parent entity's location from Singapore back to India over the next 12-18 months.
“This fund raise allows us to double down on what’s working well - deep partnerships with enterprise customers and building products that power mission-critical financial flows. India is where it all started, and we want to make this our long-term base with the eventual flip," said Rohit Taneja, co-founder and CEO, Decentro.
In FY24, Decentro reported reported Rs 17.7 crore in operating revenues, a jump from Rs 12 crore in FY23. However, it swung to a loss of Rs 2.46 crore in FY24, after posting a profit in the previous fiscal.
The reverse flip reflects a broader trend of Indian fintech companies choosing to domicile in India as the ecosystem matures and regulatory frameworks strengthen.
