Hitachi Payment's cash management unit gets new CEO

Yusuf Pachmariwala will be succeeding Anup Neogi as ​​Hitachi Cash Management Services' managing director and chief executive officer.

​​Hitachi Cash Management Services (CMS), a subsidiary of Hitachi Payment Services, has appointed Yusuf Pachmariwala as its managing director and chief executive officer. 

Pachmariwala will be succeeding Anup Neogi, who has decided to retire from his role. 

"Anup Neogi, the outgoing MD and CEO, has been a key figure in shaping Hitachi CMS’s market presence. Under his leadership, the company has witnessed significant growth in cash management and financial solutions," the company said in its statement.

Pachmariwala currently serves as the director, operations – cash business at Hitachi Payment Services. Over the years, he has played a crucial role in scaling cash business operations within the company.

"With a deep understanding of the evolving financial technology landscape, Pachmariwala’s expertise in the cash and digital payments ecosystem makes him a suitable candidate to drive Hitachi CMS’s next phase of growth," the company added.

Hitachi Payment Services has over 79,000 ATMs under management, more than 3 million merchant touchpoints nationwide. It processes over 7 million digital transactions daily. The company provides cash management services, ATM solutions, and digital payment processing to banks and financial institutions across the country.
