Razorpay promotes Khilan Haria as its chief product officer

Razorpay has promoted Khilan Haria to chief product officer (CPO) to lead the company’s product growth in India and Southeast Asia. 

Haria, who joined the company in 2019, previously served as senior vice president-product at the Bengaluru-based payment aggregator.

With this appointment, Razorpay aims to drive its international expansion in Southeast Asia as well as to enhance its focus on UPI and Razorpay POS.

“The CPO plays a vital role at Razorpay, one who is responsible for shaping the company’s product strategy and further enhancing Razorpay’s product stack to deliver impactful, customer-centric solutions that address real-world challenges for businesses,” Razorpay said.

In the new role, Haria will look after the development of payment and business banking products for global markets as well to build an integrated product ecosystem. He will further guide the global product roadmap while ensuring the development of industry-first products for growth in emerging markets.

Haria's leadership has driven several innovations such as RAY, Optimizer, UPI Switch, Turbo UPI, CC on UPI, Credit Lines on UPI among others, the company stated.
