Bajaj Finance has acquired a 5% stake in AI-powered video generation platform TrueFan AI, as part of Bajaj Finserv’s Finserv Intelligence initiative to invest in and build scalable technology solutions.
The investment follows an existing commercial relationship between the two companies. Bajaj Finance has been using TrueFan AI’s platform at scale to create millions of personalised videos for customer engagement and dealer communication.
The partnership is now expected to expand into personalised marketing, AI-generated videos, multilingual communication, live avatar assistance, learning and development, and digital onboarding.
Rajeev Jain, vice chairman and managing director of Bajaj Finance, said the investment follows the company’s experience deploying TrueFan AI’s technology at production scale. He said the move reflects Bajaj Finance’s commitment to backing homegrown AI innovation and accelerating enterprise adoption of AI-powered communication.
For TrueFan AI, operated by Hogwarts E-learning Universe Pvt Ltd, the investment brings its existing customer relationship with Bajaj Finance into a strategic partnership. Nimish Goel, Co-founder and CEO of TrueFan AI, said Bajaj Finance becoming an investor after being a major customer was an endorsement of the company’s technology and team.
Under Finserv Intelligence, Bajaj Finance also plans to invest in early-stage startups from seed to Series B across AI, cybersecurity, quantum technologies, fintech and consumer technology.
Founded in 2019, TrueFan AI supports more than 175 languages and serves over 100 enterprise customers and more than 150 small and medium businesses across sectors including BFSI, healthcare, FMCG, retail, travel and technology.
