CurvetAI, a unified AI workspace and application platform, has raised Rs 6 crore in a pre-seed funding round led by Merak Ventures.

The funding round also saw participation from a group of angel investors.

The fresh capital will be deployed to strengthen CurvetAI’s engineering and technology infrastructure, while also building agent-based AI capabilities that can execute more complex workflows.

Founded in December 2025 by Vivek Dubey and Utkarsh Gupta, CurvetAI offers an AI workspace that integrates text, image, audio, and video models on a single platform. The startup has over 1 lakh monthly users globally, with India and the US as its key markets, and has begun generating revenue.

The Pune-based startup initially started as a platform for discovering AI tools and prompts. The startup later evolved into an AI workspace after identifying the need for users to access and use multiple AI tools from a single platform.

Its co-founder Dubey previously held roles at Infosys, Microsoft, and Google, while Gupta, who has worked at Samsung, leads the startup’s engineering and technical infrastructure. CurvetAI also collaborates with AI model developers and partners including GnaniAI, Rumik AI, and Alibaba.

Funding in Indian AI startups crossed the $1-billion mark in the first half of 2026, as venture capital investors doubled down on artificial intelligence amid a broader shift towards frontier and cutting-edge technologies.

Indian AI companies raised $1.067 billion between January and June 2026, up 33% from $802 million in the year-ago period, according to data from Venture Intelligence.
