Dextr AI, a startup that builds an AI-powered workforce and operating system for the hospitality industry, has raised $6.7 million in a seed funding round led by Elevation Capital.

The funding round also saw participation from Foundation Capital.

The startup will use the fresh capital to hire more engineers, expand integrations with hotel management software, and develop additional AI agents for hospitality businesses. Dextr’s platform is designed to automate reservations, guest communication, staff coordination, and operational workflows for hotels.

Founded in 2025 by Sajid Shariff and Scott Arnold, Dextr AI builds AI agents for hotels that automate reservations, guest communication, check-ins, staff coordination, and other operational tasks. Its products, including Daisy and Alfred, help hospitality businesses improve efficiency and reduce operating costs.

Commenting on the company’s growth, Shariff said Dextr’s focus is on connecting multiple AI agents to create higher returns for hotel operators. He noted that the platform helps properties automate tasks ranging from reservations to late-night check-ins while reducing staffing challenges.

Krishna Mehra, AI partner at Elevation Capital, said Dextr stood out for its early traction, customer adoption, and ability to scale across hundreds of contracted properties while maintaining strong customer retention.
