Hang Ten Systems, an enterprise-focused AI startup founded by former CEO of Indian IT major Infosys, has raised $32 million in a seed funding round led by Mayfield.
The funding round also saw participation from Aramco Ventures and a group of Silicon Valley angel investors. Yahoo co-founder Jerry Yang has also joined the company's board.
The Palo Alto-based startup will use the fresh capital to expand its team and scale engagements with global enterprises.
Hang Ten Systems is an enterprise AI services startup that helps large organizations deploy artificial intelligence across business operations and software systems. The company builds and operates enterprise software using AI-native approaches, including agentic code generation, reusable skills libraries, and domain-specific expertise, with a focus on reducing the cost and time required for software development, customization, integration, and maintenance.
The startup was founded by Vishal Sikka, who previously served as CEO and Managing Director of Infosys from 2014 to 2017, and before that was a member of the SAP executive board. Sikka most recently served as founder and CEO of AI software company Vianai Systems until April 2026. He also serves on the supervisory board of BMW Group and has been a board member of GSK since 2022.
"Every single enterprise will be transformed by AI. A few are already reaping massive benefits, building in days what used to take years. But most are stuck at the starting line, or worse, and the gap is widening every day," said Sikka.
