KuhlTherm, a startup building liquid cooling solutions for AI data centres, has raised $1.1 million in a seed funding round led by Arkam Ventures.
KuhlTherm will use the fresh capital to accelerate product development, strengthen its R&D and testing infrastructure, expand engineering and business development teams, secure certifications, and forge strategic partnerships as it scales its liquid cooling solutions for AI data centres, hyperscale facilities, and other high-density computing environments.
Founded in 2025 by Shailesh Bishnoi along with a team that includes Jasvipul Chawla, Kishan Baravaliya, Vishant Gandhi and Kamish Patel, KuhlTherm is building precision liquid cooling technologies for high-performance computing infrastructure. The Ahmedabad-headquartered startup develops Direct-to-Chip cooling systems, Rear Door Heat Exchangers (RDHx), immersion cooling solutions, coolant distribution units, manifolds, and NexusFlow OS, its proprietary cooling intelligence platform.
"AI infrastructure is pushing data centres beyond the limits of conventional air cooling," said said founder and CEO Shailesh Bishnoi, "KuhlTherm is building advanced, modular and intelligent cooling systems that allow operators to scale high-performance compute infrastructure more efficiently, reliably and sustainably," he added.
Rahul Chandra, managing director at Arkam Ventures, said the rapid growth of AI infrastructure is increasing pressure on energy and water resources, creating demand for highly efficient cooling systems. He added that KuhlTherm is addressing this challenge through proprietary technology, India-led engineering and a product roadmap focused on high-density data centre environments.
