The funding round also saw participation from existing investors Nexus Venture Partners, Titan Capital and WEH Ventures.

Bengaluru-based cyber resilience and insurance startup Mitigata has raised $15 million in a Series B funding round led by Bessemer Venture Partners.

The funding round also saw participation from existing investors Nexus Venture Partners, Titan Capital and WEH Ventures.

The fresh capital will be used to expand the company's international presence, strengthen its AI-driven cybersecurity offerings, scale its Security Operations Centre (SOC) capabilities, and hire talent across engineering and research functions.

Mitigata was founded in 2023 by Mohit Anand, Sarthak Dubey, Mayank Morya and Akshit Kaushik. The startup offers a unified platform that combines security operations, cyber risk intelligence, compliance management, incident response and cyber insurance services — including Gordon AI, an in-house cybersecurity copilot that automates threat detection and response.

The company claims to serve more than 800 enterprises across sectors including banking, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, technology and ecommerce, and says its AI-powered SOC platform processed over one million security incidents in the past year. Nearly 95% of its current business comes from India, with planned expansion into the Middle East, North Africa, Southeast Asia and the US.

Prior to this round, Mitigata had raised $5.9 million in a Series A funding round led by Nexus Venture Partners, with participation from Titan Capital and WEH Ventures, in August last year.

The funding comes amid growing momentum in India's cybersecurity sector. As enterprises increasingly face sophisticated threats, demand for integrated platforms combining SOC capabilities, compliance and cyber insurance has surged.
