Nvidia has launched new digital and physical AI tools for speech, safety and autonomous driving.

The new physical AI tools include NVIDIA DRIVE Alpamayo-R1, an open industry-scale reasoning vision language action model for mobility, it said in a statement.

Jensen Huang, co-founder and CEO, Nvidia, has said several times that the next wave of AI is physical AI.

In digital AI, Nvidia is launching new models and datasets for speech and AI safety, it added.

These digital AI tools include MultiTalker Parakeet, which is an automatic speech recognition model for streaming audio that can understand multiple speakers; and Sortformer, which can distinguish multiple speakers within an audio stream in real time.

"These initiatives deepen Nvidia’s commitment to open source -- an effort recognized by a new Openness Index from Artificial Analysis, an independent organization that benchmarks AI," it explained.
