OpenAI to acquihire executive coaching AI tool Convogo

OpenAI is acquiring the team behind Convogo, an executive coaching AI tool, in an all-stock deal, the TechCrunch reported.
The Sam Altman-led company will hire the team to work on its AI cloud efforts but it will not acquire Convogo's IP or technology.
The three co-founders of Convogo -- Matt Cooper, Evan Cater, and Mike Gillett -- will join OpenAI as part the deal.
Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
OpenAI has made a slew of acquisitions in the past year.
Last year, OpenAI said it will acquire Statsig, a startup specialising in product testing tools.
It also acquired io Products, the venture founded by former Apple design executive Jony Ive last year.
