AI-powered autonomous delivery robotics startup Ottonomy has raised approximately Rs 40.6 crore ($4.2 million) in a post-seed funding round, with Japan-based venture capital firm Enrission India Capital participating in the investment.
The company plans to use the fresh capital to expand its global presence and increase the deployment of its autonomous logistics solutions across healthcare and industrial facilities.
Founded in 2020 by Ritukar Vijay, Pradyot Korupolu, Ashish Gupta and Hardik Sharma, Ottonomy develops AI-powered autonomous delivery robots for hospitals and enterprises. Its flagship product, Ottobot, uses proprietary AI technology to automate the movement of medicines, equipment and supplies across indoor and outdoor facilities.
"Our mission is to make autonomous mobility a dependable part of everyday operations, starting with the places where the need is most urgent. Hospitals and industrial facilities need technology that works across complex, real-world environments, and that is what our Contextual AI is built to do," said Ritukar Vijay, founder and CEO, Ottonomy.
"Labour shortages are reshaping healthcare and industry, and Ottobot gives hospitals and enterprises a practical way to move supplies autonomously, indoors and outdoors, so skilled people can focus on patient care and higher-value work," said Harsh Deodhar, principal, Enrission India Capital.
The Japan-based venture capital firm's portfolio in India includes GoDesi, Uravu Labs, StackBox and Hexalog.
The broader robotics space has attracted significant investor interest in the past years in India.
Earlier this week, Pune- and Austin-based robotics startup Peppermint Robotics raised Rs 100 crore in a pre-Series B funding round led by pi Ventures and Crane Venture Partners.
Underwater robotics startup Coratia Technologies raised Rs 18 crore in a bridge funding round led by MGF Kavachh in October 2026. Earlier, ANSCER Robotics raised $5.4 million (around Rs 45 crore) in a Series A round led by IAN Alpha Fund in May 2026.
