SpaceX may merge with other Elon Musk companies Tesla or xAI

Elon Musk's space tech company SpaceX could merge with other companies owned by the billionaire, xAI or Tesla, separate media reports suggest.
xAI's merger with SpaceX could take place before it lists on the market this year, the Reuters reported. Last year, Musk had merged xAI, the startup that owns AI chatbot Grok, with his social media platform X.
Separately, the Bloomberg reported that SpaceX is also in plans to merge with Tesla, the electric car company also owned by Musk
This development comes as SpaceX, which is the world's largest privately held company at $800 billion valuation, awaits a highly-anticipated initial public offering (IPO) this year.
On Wednesday, Tesla revealed in its letter to shareholders that the car company had committed $2 billion in investments to xAI.
